Okay, so I just finished watching Please Like Me, an Australian gay-themed TV series, and I loved it! Karl started watching it so I joined him however I disliked it at first since I found the main character, Josh, egoistic and insensitive but things changed eventually (I don’t want to spoil) and I fell in love with it.
To give you a brief description about the series, it was produced by Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and ran from 2013-2016. Oh yes darlings, it ended already – and yeah it sucks! It wrapped up last 2016 and I just got to watch it this 2018. Though, I can say that it is still so relevant at this time. Additionally, Josh Thomas, who played as Josh, was also the creator, writer, and executive producer of the critically-acclaimed series. Continue reading “Please Like Me.”
Just this month, we heard about the news that Charice Pempengco is now Jake Zyrus. Dude, what an inspiration! You are standing up for yourself, your life, and your happiness – and nobody could stop you.

Is it just me or are we all terrified about this board game A.D. preferred to call Liar’s Lament, and what it can do to the girls? So basically, this board game is a big part to how it will all end.
In this episode, there’s a part when Emily said that she’s done already, referring to Liar’s Lament and A.D. I’m wondering if how done are the girls when they say they are done. Continue reading “PLL The Endgame – S07E12 These Boots Were Made for Stalking – Reaction Blog”
I read the book back in college and I really liked the story despite the immaturity of the characters. Hence, that vulnerability, and irrationality made Hannah Baker decide to kill herself.
I posted the picture above dated September 27, 2014 on Instagram, and here it is after more than 2 years – an adaptation to web series! I was stoked when I found out that Netflix would be doing a series of Th1rteen R3asons Why. I don’t read a lot, that is why I’m amazed that one of the few books I got to read would be recreated into a series. Luckily, my sister have a subscription already on Netflix so that I don’t need to purchase my own. Continue reading “MY COLLEGE NOSTALGIA – TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY (Web Series) – Reaction Blog”
As I scan the tv channels after I woke up early this morning, Dyesebel was on play at PBO. The 1996 version with Charlene Gonzales and Matt Mendoza. I was only 2 years old during that time, yet I watched it as I grew up.
Back then, I found Matt Mendoza good-looking but not until I’ve seen him again today that Handsome Matt changed into Hot Matt. The way I look at him now is different, perhaps because I can already appreciate his buff body, big arms, and hot legs. Grabe pala yung igsi ng mga shorts na suot nya, yung hotness nya pag naka-trunks lang sya. Mas naappreciate ko talaga sya ngayon hahaha.
Pasensya, yan lang yung nakuha kong pics from before. Parang limited lang yung photos before ni Matt Mendoza online. Hindi ko rin ma-screengrab yung movie kasi wala akong clear copy.
Nonetheless, where is Matt Mendoza now? Continue reading “Where is Matt Mendoza?”
It is just very delightful to watch same sex love as the center of a series whether on television or online in these modern days. By that, same sex love is watched on many households thus proper understanding could blossom from there, resulting to widespread acceptance. Thought of homosexual relationship as total lust and sexual might be clear out now into what is truly larger – LOVE.
Alike to heterosexual relationships, there are uncertainties, awkwardness, and fears. Uncertain feelings if we really like the person or it’s just infatuation. Awkward moments during the getting-to-know and dating stages. And fear of losing the person due to mistakes, misunderstanding, differences, and destiny or God’s plan. However, most importantly, there are butterflies in the stomach, bravery, betterment, and inspiration.
My Husband’s Lover
This is the first gay-themed series I’ve ever watched and it happened to be a Filipino original. I am just so proud with GMA 7 after pulling off this first ever gay-themed teleserye in Philippine TV history. I followed this series from beginning up to the end during my college days when I haven’t even came out to my family yet. The story revolves around Vincent who is married to Lally and has two kids however Vincent is a closeted bisexual. Conflict and confusion arise when he and Eric, his high school lover, met again. One way of showing to the world how LGBTs love each other is through the movies. Being fond of watching movies, movies that showcase same sex love is definitely a huge part of my movie checklist. I am very much amazed if real-life experiences, struggles, accomplishments in life and love of LGBTs are being portrayed.
Phi Chai or My Bromance revolves around two schoolboys named as Golf and Bank. Bank is the son of Golf’s father from another woman. These stepbrothers would eventually develop love for each other but conflict occurs when their parents get to know about their relationship.
This movie teaches us how to love without boundaries and fears.
